2007-09-01 - AME Info | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Khaled Al Mulhim, the DG of Saudi Arabian Airlines, has said the carrier is likely to buy a fleet of new aircraft as part of a ten year modernization plan, reported Arab News. Al Mulhim also said the airline will look to lease more planes to meet growing demand and increased domestic and international competition. Saudia's cargo unit is likely to be privatised by the end of the year.
