Saudi council debate on air conditioning delayed
2012-02-15 - AMEinfo.com | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Shoura Council has postponed a debate on imposing a uniform standard on air conditioners sold in the kingdom, Arab News has reported. The council had approved earlier a suggestion made by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO) to conduct tests on all locally produced and imported goods before they come to the market. Discussions on the uniform standard are to continue when the council receives the subsequent annual report from SASO next year, the council said.
